Senior Salesforce Developer (REMOTE)
How You'll Contribute
Provides consulting services
- Guides clients and team members to resolve requirements of varying complexity
- Determines implementation options using the best practices approach
- Architects technical solutions to the appropriate needs of the client, based on the Salesforce platform and client IT environment, both internally and cloud-based
- Analyzes client data requirements and interprets into migration and/or integration transformation specifications
- Develops, unit tests and modifies Apex code using a structured methodology
- Develops and deploys solutions that meet client requirements in a scalable and repeatable manner
- Provides clear and concise estimates to sales and delivery teams
Communicates clearly and consistently
- Provides ongoing communication to team members, management and clients
- Communicates with clients to provide updates on inquiries across projects and support initiatives
- Participates in team meetings and updates internal systems in a timely manner

What's Needed for Success: (Skills/Experience/Education)
Required Skills
- Experience with custom development using the Force.com platform including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL and SOSL
- Experience with Java, C#, C++, .NET or other related languages, and experience with developing enterprise applications
- Experience with relevant scripting, mark-up & styling languages (JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com declarative configuration
- Skilled at analyzing, troubleshooting and solving problems
- Experience with development methodologies and concepts
- Understanding of enterprise solution architecture as it pertains to scalability, systems integration, etc.
- Extensive experience with relevant IDEs, deployment methodologies, and system testing
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a rapid-paced environment
- Excellent bidirectional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using common business applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong desire to learn new industries and technologies
- Ability to adapt to new challenges
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals at all levels
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce.com certification (Platform Developer)
- Experience working with modern MV* JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Ember)
- Understanding of web design and related web services (particularly REST and SOAP)
- Required Experience:
- 3+ years working as a business consultant or technical liaison in an internal or external capacity
- 2+ years leading CRM system implementation efforts using an SDLC methodology
Education
- Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree (Computer Science, Engineering or MIS preferred)
- Relevant product & technology certifications
