The Role:

We are looking for software engineers to join our rapidly growing team. Our engineers work hand in hand with product management and design to deliver a range of digital products to help us achieve our mission, to do everything in our power to improve the earnings and wellbeing of our Members.



What you will do:

• Build web interfaces using XHTML, CSS and JavaScript;


• Build solid business logic using PHP, including error handling and logging


• Build report interfaces, services, components or data feeds


• Setting up infrastructure to suit the deployment


• Interface with product management and other engineering teams


• Conduct design and code reviews with peer.

• Solid understanding of web technologies including JavaScript, XHTML, CSS3;


• Experience programming in a variety of languages, including


• frontend JS, backend PHP and interfacing with REST APIs;


• High level knowledge of internet protocols, XHRs, form submissions and data flows;


• Wordpress framework and Gravity Form knowledge is advantageous;


• Good understanding of modern software design patterns;


• Working knowledge of writing automated unit and integration tests;


• Working knowledge of using a GIT repository, branching and code review process;


• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL;


• High understanding of best practices for coding securely;


• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related/equivalent experience.
