Job Requirements:

• 5 + years prior experience in BI/data warehouse or related IT industry experience


• 5 + years prior experience with Qlik


• 5 + years prior experience developing customized data models and visualizations, extension integration and scripting


• Experience with large and complex systems


• SQL Server experience


• Experience with Relational & Dimensional data sources


• Knowledge of Qlik server architecture and demonstrated ability building QVD’s and QVW’s/QVF’s applying business rules and data validations


• Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of data source integration and advanced GUI development in Qlik including data modeling, analysis, design, testing, development and implementation of client/server applications.


• Strong experience in Qlik scriptingincluding performing incremental loads and Qlik document versioning, document chaining and linking, actions and triggers, and use of complex Qlik functions in developing the most optimal scripts for a given solution.


• Intimate familiarity with macros, set analysis, and all charts and graph types to select the best visualization techniques for differing analytic/reporting scenarios


• Strong experience with RDBS systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Postgress or others


• Ability to write complicated yet efficient SQL queries and stored procedures


• Experience with enterprise applications for use in production environments, demonstrating experience in Section Access, Security Authentication & Authorization, Dynamic reduction, etc.


• Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in visualization displaying scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards.


• Is familiar with SOC 2 compliance and its impact on company policies and processes.


• Understands importance of adhering to SOC 2 requirements, and maintains an effort to do so.

• BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Public Health, and/or equivalent industry experience


• Healthcare analytics experience and knowledge of health claims data preferred


• CIA Report Manager experience is a plus


• Excellent problem-solving skills, logical process thinking. Investigates problems to establish real or hidden causes and suggests creative resolutions


• Excellent written and communication skills


• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Ability to multi-task and shift priorities with comfort.
