We are looking for a Python developer to handle strictly back-end software development jobs ranging in length from 100 to 400 hours in length.  

I'll use this (admittedly tiny) project to determine if

1) you are competent and capable of python

2) understand the basic database and ORM concepts

3) you communicate clearly and with authority

4) are able to make real-time estimates based on the difficulty of the work

5) are fun to work with.



The specification at the link above outlines a tiny slice of a much bigger project involving Crunchbase and Salesforce that is already running in production.  I just shrunk the scope way down.  If you complete this assignment and you're interested in doing more work, you'll be interacting with projects just like this.  The beauty is there's no UI.  If you're a data-centric person, this is the job for you.  You will be simply data munging and uploading from various data sources to CRMs like Salesforce.
