What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Elixir Developer who has the capacity and desire to help lead the engineering organization on a path to efficient product cycles and on time deliveries. The ideal candidates will be passionate and experienced in building scalable back-end technologies. Experience with Phoenix framework, PostgreSQL, Ecto is required. Nice to haves include prior experience with Containerisation (Docker) and container orchestration but above all a willingness to learn new technologies and apply the right tool for the job. We also use Python, Go, Javascript - experience with any of these is a plus.



Experience and qualifications:

• A minimum of 4-5 years of application development experience.


• Have proven experience as a technical leader for a team/department.


• Software development experience in Elixir, particularly using the Phoenix Framework, Python, Ruby or Go or/and similar software development language.


• Have extensive experience working hands-on as a Software Engineer in an agile environment.


• Have experience in mentoring and supporting peers and engineering teams.


• Have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms and understand how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions.


• Care about quality and know what it means to ship high quality code.


• You have experience in identifying, debugging and resolving complex production issues.


• Excellent communication skills in English.
