Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations to successfully translate business requirements into well-architected technology designs and solutions


• Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states


• Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation


• Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed


• Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce during new product releases and acquisitions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field


• At least 2-4 years of software development experience with a strong understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions, design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices, and data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture


• 1- 2 years experience defining system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive technical design that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes


• Familiarity with the Salesforce product suite including Salesforce1, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Health Cloud, and AppExchange solutions


• Extensive hands-on development experience with technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Heroku, AWS, Lightning, JavaScript, .NET, Node.js, Objective-C, React


• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles


• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies


• Life Sciences experience, particularly in Pharma is a plus


• Salesforce certifications and consulting experience a plus
