THE ROLE:

As a rapidly growing start-up, we've achieved building an Alpha B2B2B product which has gained over 22 users and 7 customers within the first month of being released.

As part of the Pattyrn team, you'll make a valuable contribution to these 2 key areas:

1. Develop, Test, and Deploy

With each PR, you will be expected to focus your JS & React skills on high-performant code that comes standard with unit tests for each component built using Jest.

2. Outcome-Driven Development

You will work with the Technical Product Owner to ensure stories are accurately estimated and contribute to the focused outcome to achieve within the two-week sprint timeline.

Our ideal engineer should have these key characteristics:

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience building products or web-apps using RESTful API’s or GraphQL


• Experience writing unit tests using Jest and Cypress


• Experience working in large apps that include over 2k lines of code

• Strong attention to detail when building features from design files


• An excellent communicator with the ability to problem-solve while building and maintaining strong working relationships.


• Empathetic, warm, not afraid to challenge thinking, and flexibility.

• Experience contributing to open-source projects


• Ability and willingness to learn other programming languages as needed


• Startup environment experience and/or the ability to work remotely

• Ability to identify project goals and objectives


• Ability to move the product forward while managing technical debt levels

• Ability to create quality and scalable high-performant code


• Ability to test code at a unit and system level


• Capacity to work with varieties of API’s
