Job Description:

• As a Machine Learning Architect for our Machine Learning Engineering team, you will participate in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables to enable Data Science platforms to include components of the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirement


• Provide architectural guidance including design and delivery model computational architecture


• Hand-on development and engineering using Python, R or SAS


• Research and continuous learning of new tools to help design scalable Data Science architectures 


• Contribute to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions


• Develop prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes.


• Work on multiple projects with competing deadlines


• Mentor and coach other team members including Machine Learning Engineers

Responsibilities:

As a Machine Learning Architect, you will be responsible for providing architectural guidance including design and delivery model computational architecture, machine learning and artificial intelligence models. Serve as a key member of our Machine Learning Engineer team and interface directly with Data Scientists and key technical and business stakeholders. As an Architect, you will develop architectural solutions to help enable and optimize models, patterns, architectural blueprints, and mentor other data scientists and machines learning engineers.

• Build and architect next-generation machine learning framework by mining large datasets to enable clients to gain insights on strategic datasets


• Evaluate new technologies and open source or third party products, and research to identify opportunities that impact business strategy, meet business requirements.


• Proactively bring new ideas, research emerging technologies and discuss with business and management to transform the current state technologies to future state.

Required Skills:

• Expertise/experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning algorithms, Natural Language Processing, Entity extraction and insight extractions


• 3+ years in Data Science Architecture - preferably with CV, GIS or Deep Learning, etc. for solving Model Architecture problems like OCR, NLP


• Hands-on experience with Python is required; SAS or R is preferred


• Deep understanding and knowledgeable about text search, databases internals and graph stores.


• Experience working with Hadoop, HBase, Spark


• Working knowledge some of the latest advancements in the deep learning space like Tensorflow, seq2seq, RNN, word2vec etc.


• Experience in Large Scale Data Mining with modern parallel architectures (e.g., CUDA framework)


• Knowledge and experience in some of the AI platform like IBM Watson etc.


• Expertise in various data integration/ETL tools, application integration, business process and data science tools


• Experience with streaming architectures and micro service based ecosystems.


• Strong conceptual, logical and physical architecture design experience.


• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with great interpersonal dispositions and communication skills.


• Strong knowledge of various DMBS systems including NoSQL architectures and design principles.


• Experience with delivery in agile workflows across multiple geographies.


• Excellent understanding of algorithms and data structures for optimization

Preferred Experience:

• Master’s Degree or PhD. in a Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science


• Previous experience research and development work, publish white papers
