MUST Have Requirements:

• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). 


•  


• Provide Cloud user management, security, capacity, monitoring and configuring application development tools


• Experience with Azure Resource Manager ( ARM)


• Experience writing effective PowerShell scripts


• Experience with monitoring tools, such as Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS), certificates and SSL management


• Experience on architecting and building cloud architecture with Azure and AWS, using Azure Resource Manager, Azure IaaS, PaaS offerings and services 

• Responsible for design, development, and implementation of Cloud solutions.


• Serve as mid-level technical resource in development team’s efforts to determine the needs of the business that will simplify and automate the applications as well as make them more efficient.


• Participate in the software development life cycle to ensure sound Cloud solutions are implemented.


• Participate in planning, implementation, and growth of our customer's Microsoft Azure foundational footprint.


• Work closely with architects and engineers to recommend and design database or data storage solutions that effectively reflect our business needs, security, and service level requirements.


• Work with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concept (POC) and implement the design in production environment in Azure.


• Work with current application teams to understand current applications and make migration recommendations and to-be architectures in Azure.


• Migrate existing databases from on premise to Azure using various tools provided as part of the Microsoft Azure Cloud offerings.


• Provide expertise around Business Intelligence (BI) Cloud reporting tools.


• Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues.


• Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results.


• May mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.


• Development of automated solutions to monitor and support our software development and release processes.

• 4 or more years of experience building cloud architecture with Azure, using Azure Resource Manager, Azure IaaS, PaaS offerings and services in Azure Commercial, and/or Azure for Government


• 4 years of hands-on experience migrating customers to the cloud and designing DevOps operational processes, deployment checklists, etc.


• Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Automation, and Orchestration


• Experience deploying web and service-based applications in Windows/Linux environments


• Experience in working through an ATO process


• Working knowledge of at least one configuration management tool, such as Ansible, Chef, and/or Puppet


• Experience writing effective PowerShell scripts


• Experience with monitoring tools, such as Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS), certificates and SSL management


• Experience with Azure Resource Templates


• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular), RESTful APIs, JSON and XML formats


• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines with limited supervision


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• U.S. Citizenship required in order to comply with law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.
