• Suggest new features to improve web presence navigation and operation


• Monitor and measure website traffic and other key metrics to improve usability 


• Ensure compliance with copyright, privacy regulation, GDPR


• Follow security principles 


• Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications


• Use development tools and CSS preprocessors such as Gulp, NPM and SASS/SCSS to increase turnaround time


• Determine viability of UI/UX wireframes and mockups


• Create WordPress plugins using OOP best practices


• Efficiently and effectively version control plugins, themes, and applications with Git


• Ensure recent and stable backups of plugins, themes, and databases are available at all times with BitBucket and Kinsta


• Write object-oriented PHP to implement new features within WordPress


• Utilize WordPress packages such as Advanced Custom Fields and Toolset to extend existing functionality of Our company


• Develop email templates and manage Pardot Forms & Form Handlers


• Create readable and extendable client-side JavaScript with Babel


• Refactor legacy PHP code


• Develop weightless and low specificity CSS with BEM and Atomic CSS methodologies


• Communicate with 3rd party support teams such as Yoast


• Keep track of developments in web technology


• Stay up-to-date with industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics

• Advanced working knowledge of Wordpress, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML and CSS is required 


• Working knowledge of CMS framework, Java, Ruby, and Python is a bonus 


• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)


• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging


• Understanding of layout aesthetics


• Knowledge of SEO principles


• An ability to execute & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 60% of the time
