Position Overview

• Work with CTO and talented engineers to build a native VideoCoin blockchain based on Ethereum


• Research and develop consensus mechanisms


• Work on the protocol layer to define communications between nodes in the VideoCoin Network


• Extend and use libp2p, level DB, Whisper, geth and other bleeding-edge open-source technology to build low latency, high throughput compute on the blockchain 

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field


• Hands-on development experience in C/C++/GoLang/Solidity


• 5+ years in systems software development


• 1+ years of development with Blockchain


• Experience contributing to open-source projects


• Proficient in the Ethereum Protocol, used geth or eth client


• Knows how to run ETH network full-stack, including setting up PoA and PoS Networks


• Understands different PoS networks and merits of each of them like Cosmos, Stellar and EOS


• Understanding of Video a plus


• Experience working in a dynamic startup environment


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Outstanding attention to detail.
