We are seeking a software developer with 6 years’ experience in an enterprise cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in at least one of the following areas: Accumulo (or another NoSQL database), Elasticsearch, Scala\\\\Spark, or Java\\\\Spark. The candidate will work in a cloud infrastructure that collects enterprise data and produces analyzed data for customers. Must be flexible and open to different opinions in this highly dynamic, ever changing environment. The project is working against tight deadlines using the agile method of software development. The project uses multiple open source technologies. The candidate must be able to work independently.



Based on the candidate’s exact skillsets, they may be responsible for:

• Writing Java\\\\Scala\\\\Spark big data applications


• Working with distributive applications and performance tuning


• Developing and planning Accumulo table structures


• Developing and planning SQL table structures


• Developing and planning Elasticsearch indexes


• Developing restful web services to integrate with Elasticsearch


• Developing analytics with Elasticsearch


• Creating technical documentation

• Java\\\\Spark


• Scala\\\\Spark


• Elasticsearch


• Accumulo (or another NoSQL database)
