What You’ll Be Doing:

• 
  Developing and maintaining excellent codebases for TechOps, and the company as a whole.
  


• 
  Participating in code reviews and architecture audits where required.
  


• 
  Collaborating with other business units (Engineering, QA, etc.) to improve cross-functional code.
  


• 
  Petting the office dogs when appropriate.
  

• 
  5+ years of work as an Operations focused software engineer
  


• 
  5+ years of expertise in Python (beyond scripting experience, must have been able to write code for developers to support DevOps)
  


• 
  Experience with CI (Jenkins) and deployment strategies.
  


• 
  Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and internals.
  


• 
  Firm grasp on a variety of storage systems/architectures (traditional, object-based, etc.).
  


• 
  Focus on excellence and sustainable programming.
  


• 
  Strong interpersonal communication skills.
