Client : - Morgan Stanley.
Environment : - UNIX, ORACLE (SQL, PLSQL)
Description : - Client Reference Data Group (CRD) of Morgan Stanley aims to enable to protect the firm by assuring the data quality and enterprise fitness needs across firm-wide functions for client data through the proper engineering of processes and tools that consume, collect, and maintain data. The availability and concurrency of data in the CRD database are critical to the Morgan Stanley business community as it is used for trading, clearing, settlement, risk management, compliance, and reporting purposes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Check daily production health-checks and monitoring tasks and procedures in a timely manner, owner of major and monthly releases of my team.
· Setting watch tower alerts for all AutoSys jobs.
· Interact on daily basis with developers, Stakeholders’ staff, internal Business, and operational teams and with external vendor technical staff.
· Monitor service now queues and ensure count should be minimum on daily basis.
· Handle critical outage calls and provide inputs to the incident post-mortem for P1 and P2 incidents.

Description : - Merlin (Market Risk Local Infrastructure) is an application to compute for fixed income trades. Fixed income trades are the input to MERLIN.
Value -a-risk (VAR) is a category of risk a category of risk Matrix that describes probability of market risk of trading portfolio. When feeds received in Merlin it will validate, form into batches and load. The coaster will be generated and further VaR calculation will be done at VaR end finally Generate the report that will be used by MRO’s for evaluating the Risk figures.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Providing support related to users reported issues.
· Involved in monitoring & investigating job failure.
· Involved in code label investigation of the jobs (UNIX, Shell Scripting, Oracle9i, SQL, PL/SQL).
· Coding stored procedures, functions, triggers, cursor enhancements.
· Responsible for providing the support in L2 level depending on the priority of the issues to meet client’s SLA.
· In case of Code fix, Responsible for: -
a. Raising the RFC
b. Working on the Approved RFC on various phase
· Providing support to client on 24/7 basis.
· Coding of the various components and code review.
· Providing support for Development environment – bug-fixing and problem solving.
· Participate in internal meetings to discuss the status of the application
· Tuning SQL Statements on UNIX Environment. Handling Mutating Table Errors.

Network Management System-Southeast Region (BBNMS-SE)system provides a consolidated control point to the multi-vendor multi-media DSL/Broadband network. It supports Network Element Creation and Configuration along with its fault management and correlations. It also manages service order flow which includes service order processing, activation and repairing.
