Description

Monsanto Farmers First is used help farmers to achieve better crop yields by giving proper suggestions for their crops. A farmer needs to register to avail the free service. During registration all the farmer details along with the crops and land & the type of land etc. details are captured. There are different users who log in to the Farmers First system - different user logins with different privileges based on the type of user (e.g. Call center advisor, advisor, expert). Once successfully registered farmer can seek advice based on the crop he/she wants to cultivate. During the process of cultivation, farmer can call the call center if their crop has any issues related to crop disease, sowing, pesticides etc. Call center agent helps the famer by using the diagnostic tool in which there are predefined issues (questions) and answers that can be advised to farmers. If the issue is not resolved, call center advisor needs to escalate the issue to Expert Panel by raising a ticket in the Farmers First system. The expert panel then picks up the ticket and provides advice to farmer. If it’s not resolved at the expert level, a field visit will be arranged to meet the farmer.
