TSYS, one of the largest product based company in the world, and has existence in USA, UK and other middle-east countries. I am currently working on MTA project from INDIA on cards domain using the Infogix ACR/Detail tool.

MTA validates and reconciles various reports from more than 200 of clients like BOA, Bank of Canada, RBS, NWB, UBS, ICICI and few others., and alerts the respective banks in case of any out-of-balance in any reports.

As a Sr. Programmer Analyst, my job responsibilities include:

1. Helping the testing team to understand the functionality of Mainframe applications and provide them more insight.
2. Review their test cases, test scenarios, test plan and suggest them the changes.
3. Understanding the in and out of the Infogix ACR/Detail product.
4. Creating ACR controls for validation, reconciliation, and balancing for various banks
5. Extracts data easily and efficiently from large files to put data integrity checks
6. Provides variance reports that compares month-to-date info & produces trend analysis
7. Introducing the features of ACR/Detail tool to different teams from time to time and to bring the new requirements internally.

CITI Bank, one of the largest banks in the world, has various mainframe applications. Worked on one of these mainframe applications, called ‘Regulatory Reporting System’ under Securities domain.

LI application processes data from various distributed applications like DALI, GMS and mainframe applications like ETPL, GTPL and CLU, sends it across down-stream UNIX applications like CLU, FOCUS, SIGMA, TICS, SHLA and SHCA using FTP.

As an Associate Consultant, my job responsibilities include:

1. Adhoc report generation on user’s demand from time to time & discuss the same with onsite team.
2. Preparing Change Documents for getting user approvals and for future reference.
3. Also providing Production support for 2 mainframe applications.
4. Responsible for following SDLC cycle for any changes to be implemented on production
5. Act as a single Point of Contact for all the reports like Weekly Status Report, Weekly Review meetings with Onsite & Offshore Managers and assisting the team in improving their productivity whenever necessary.

1. Successfully proposed and implemented a redesign for smooth transfer of multiple feeds to down-stream applications

Royal Bank of Scotland is the third largest bank in the world. The bank has various mainframe applications to serve day-to-day banking needs.

Application: Credit Monitoring System (CMS)

CMS is basically an offset database for most of the off-host applications used in banking. Due to strict security reasons the online applications are not linked to the DB2 tables directly, rather a copy of this data is made available to CMS from which the off-host applications, mostly GUI based, can pick up the data as per their requisition.
