Process aims to archive pricelists from PRIMAS application for relevant Car Lines and specific effective dates. Initial country scope is limited to German market only. Team of analysts need to know system set prices on a daily level when reacting to dealer queries or for price protection calculations etc.

Input# Input template file will include the following information: Car Line code, Effective Date and Country (Germany).

Output# Pricelists of the required Carlines in Excel format stored in a respective Share Drive folder

For various analyses and for audit purposes it is required to file reports daily. These reports are available as e-mail attachments or as mainframe report. Based on the sender & subject, the attachments to be saved in a specific share drive. For few mails, the entire mail to be saved/archived in the specific share drive location

Exchange rate to be loaded in GMCF for calculating and reporting monthly exchange per unit, ITI and YoY on material cost during forecast and BoD. Also, GVMR rate (i.e CSP rate) to be loaded in GMCF, which is done during MTTB process only

This is a tech refresh project. In the existing system, all the reports (excel) are running on the server which contains the macro. As recommended by the audit team, we have planned to remove the functionality of “Excel running on server”, and decided to go with the solution of “Apache POI” which can be added in the existing eDB3.0 framework (framework is on Java). Instead of running the macro in the server machine, we are doing the changes to move the functionality, which runs on the client machine
