Project Description – BPC Project Support and implementation, BPC 10.1 standard on HANA

In BPC it has 5 environments and multiple models. Role is to support from the Offshore for the incidents raised in all areas of BPC like BADI, Data Loads, reports and Input Schedules, VBA code, DMP Packages.

Responsibilities

• Take up incidents and Enhancements raised in the share point & Remedy.
• Support for the Badi’s, BW and BPC objects used in the BPC Project. Support for the upgrade processes at client side for Windows upgrade, OS upgrades, BW upgrades, NextGen upgrades etc.

SanDisk Corporation is an American company with headquarters in Miliptas, California that designs, develops and manufactures flash memory storage devices and software. SanDisk is the third-largest manufacturer of flash memory in the world. Sandisk is now acquired by Western Digital.

Project Description – BPC Support Project, BPC 10.0 on HANA

In BPC it has models like Capex, Revenue, Expense, Employee, Costing, Factory Costing, OCOGS and Finance which have to be supported. Role is to support for the incidents raised in SNOW, Service Now a Ticketing Tool along with working on enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Support for the BPC process involved in the project, working on the BPC, HANA, BW and ABAP areas.  Custom logic Badi’s are involved which are called from Data manager packages for complex calculations.
• Take up incidents and Enhancements raised in the SNOW Service Now, a ticketing tool used in SanDisk.

Solutions /objects worked:

• Costing Cube fact table partition by using HANA table redistribution as the table reached the threshold limit.
• Solution provided for Archiving the Costing model old categories which helps in the performance. Archiving the data of the categories and automatize the deletion by converting the flag indicators.

On Customer’s demand to have a single Contract View and a single Invoice for all the Offered Services from a Company, SAP has come up with Flexible Billing Solution. The Product is available for those who purchase ECC 6.0 EHP 7.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the handover of the Flexible Billing Solution from Development team to the Support team and to support further.
• Involved in the Acceptance testing, Module Integrating testing and Integration testing and worked on Bug fixes.
• Understand the Flexible Billing Solution Product and provide further support for the users. Ensuring the quality of the product.

Project Description:

The project is based on SAP R/3 and ISU application components. As it is acquisition from the Shell, the system is similar to that of the Shell system and the client upgraded the system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0, upgraded the Operating system from Unix to Windows NT and mingled the system to their In-housing systems.
