Project Description

Global Workflow for Express Billing (GWEB) is a shipment correction system, where country users can trigger order request to correct shipment details like account, destination, source, product code, weight, service charges, etc. for different error code to proceed for billing. GWEB will connect with different system to get proper information and it allow to review manually and correct the details in process workflow.

This GWEB 1.0 was running with legacy services on Non-BPM product, which was not capable to do all activities with proper workflow. Now we have developed on webMethods BPM plat form with many additional functionalities called GWEB Plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developed business process and user task to interact business users with different role/level.
  • Developed, REST API to communicate with GWEB web App and different applications.
  • Involving with BUIT and Users to get/understand requirements for project discussion.

Offer management system (OMS) is DHL offer management BPMS system, which allow to handle different level of approvals like sales, account, discount, revenue dilution, etc. based on different parameters like country, customers, wait, distance, etc. which is defined in Business Rule with different roles. Business Rule Engine (BRE) Utilities is a CAF Portlet Utilities module in OMS, which offers a functionality to DHL business users to upload/download the Business Rules of selected project Decision table to/from Business Rule Engine in form of excel sheet in once click. It also provides to search/list the rules and decision tables based on different criteria.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developed business process, business rule and user task to interact business users with different role and level.

Project Description

As part of Oracle GTMS (Global trade management system) Project, we have to send Export Sales Orders to GTMS server (outside our network) and receive response from Third party server after the Sales Orders are screened for export compliance.

We are integrating Oracle System and GTMS system (Third party) using webMethods middleware.

The Sales Order is considered as Export Order (in other words International Order) When the transaction happens between two different countries. Trade Compliance Check is the process where International trade requires dealing with the rules, regulation and duties applicable for the products between the countries of trade. Why Export Compliance Check:

Is it legal to sell to/buy from this entity?, Is a license required for exporting/importing this product?, Is there any special government documents needed for the export/import?, How can the customs delays be prevented?, What is the total cost for buying/selling the products?, etc.

The Sales Order is considered as Export Order When:

    • The Ship To country is not in US country.
    • The Bill To Country is not in US country.
    • The Sold To Country is not in US country.
    • The Order is Drop Ship and the Drop Ship country is not in US
    • The Order is Freight Forwarder and the Freight Forwarder country is not in US
    • The Freight Forwarder Flag is set to Yes in the customer ship to site DFF
    • Order Shipment Priority value equal to “EXPORT”

Oracle will send the Order for export compliance check immediately after:

    • The Sales order is Booked
    • The Delivery is created for the Order Line

  • Developing the flow interfaces to implement the business logic and invoke oracle procedure to pass the business data to downstream system.

With this program, we will resolve issues related to E2E delivery process & associated systems, customer contractual bureaucracy, lack of a multi country billing solution, online ordering, tracking, lack of in-life self-service and a disparate support infrastructure which are prohibiting the growth capabilities for Colt that are in the market place.

IN Radical project implementation in webMethods layer is to integrate the different system as with INR Portal, OM Portal, Assets, NMTS, Billing System, Letter System. To integration all systems, webMethods needs to implement the below interfaces using webMethods BPM and ESB.

Draft Order: This is the process followed in customer on-boarding (pre-order submit) process for IN products.

New Order: This is the process followed when a new order is submitted for IN products.

Re Order: This is the process followed in when a re order is submitted for an IN product.

Mod Order: This is the process followed when update to an order is submitted for IN products.

Cease Order: This is the process followed when an order is submitted for cease for any of the IN products.
