Developing and testing the code in Dev and moving into Testing and Production environments. Monitoring the jobs, working on RCA and resolution as part of JIRA story, testing the code and deploying it into production. Mostly working on procedures, shell scripts, ETL jobs and CAWA related jobs. Working in Bigdata environment to move the data from Oracle to Hive by using Talend Bigdata ingestion framework. Developing the ETL code for new requirement as acquiring the data from Source to Staging, Staging to Mart and Azure with business logic and handling source deletes. Implementing the code changes for CRs from client by using functional specification document. Performance tuning the Workflows which are long running in Production by partitioning the session, implementing Merge query in target post SQL, by creating Stored Procedures for critical mappings etc. Attending the Demo sessions with client for explaining the code changes to meet the requirement while releasing the code to UAT. Providing the RCA and bug fix for production issues. Supporting and mentoring the team members, Co-ordinating the deployment team for smooth release monthly.

Implemented the POC using ODI 11g to acquire the data from Source to Staging and load the data from Staging to EDW with business logics. Developed several mappings for Staging, Dimension and Fact tables with business logic like SCD Type I and II. Handled the small teams by providing the KT sessions, assigning development and testing tasks, mentoring the team members and reviewing the code and test results. Migrated the code from Development to Test environment. Logging the issues in ALM while testing the code and Resolving the code issues if any. Provided RCA and resolved the issues in SIT, validated the data and prepared the defect logs for future reference. Performed DBA rolls for DEV and SIT databases.

Analysed and understood the ETL mapping specification documents. Developed SCD Type-I and II mappings to load core banking data from Source to Staging and Staging to EDW for Dimension and Fact tables. Implemented ABC (Audit, Balance and Control) methodology to ensure that data is loading into target properly or not. Performed unit testing and prepared test documents, delivered the bug free code to QA environment in time. Deployed the code from Development environment to testing environment.
