About Me

·         Involved in extracting data from multiple sources like Flat files, Database.

·         Extensively worked on Informatica tools such as Source Analyzer, Transformation Designer,     Mapplet Designer and Mappi...formatica tools such as Source Analyzer, Transformation Designer,     Mapplet Designer and Mapping Designer to design, develop and test mappings and other related components to load data from external flat files and RDBMS.

·         Worked on different screens like PowerCenter Designer, PowerCenter Workflow Manager, PowerCenter Repository Manager and PowerCenter Workflow Monitor.

·         Created mappings using the transformations such as the Update Strategy, Lookup, Sequence generator, Aggregator, Source qualifier, Expression, Router, Filter, Joiner and Union.

·         Creating reusable transformations and using in mapping.

·         To keep track of historical data slowly changing dimensions (SCD) were implemented.

·         Performing performance tuning, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks on various levels like sources, targets and mapping.

·         Involved in Migration activities for migrating the code across development to testing environment.

·         Involved in Scheduling activities with the scheduling team-providing details of components name, frequency of flow.
