Client Delivery Tool – is a web application project that aims to provide users suggestions on the different Sun Life products that suits different customer profile. It has a quotation and sales modules that allow users to inquire about the product coverages and prices.
▪ Identified gaps and issues in the logic design on how recommended consumer products will calculated and grouped based on then current user profiles.
▪ Highlighted the inconsistency in product recommendation and identified product combinations that throws exception errors.

ICIF – is both a conversion and enhancement project that aims to convert the CIF, (old version of this application originally written in Oracle Forms) into a Web Application and furthermore to improve the process of consolidating customer details to provide and share more meaningful and reliable customer information to different systems that are pulling data from ICIF.
▪ Identified crucial errors which includes numerous server and exception errors during costumer information consolidation process, inaccurate consolidation result, incorrect retrieval of customer information when viewed from different application.
▪ Escalated issues in performance especially when processing bulk customer consolidation and inconsistency in throwing error messages when processing concurrent record consolidation.

Firestorm Day 2 – is a multi-billion-dollar project of Sun Life of Canada which aims to enhance the taxation module of Ingenium Core, which is the current Life Insurance system used by the company to adapt and comply to the new taxation laws implemented in Canada.

Managed a group of testers and handled creation of detailed test plan and test cases. Attended daily stand-up meeting to raise concerns and clarify gaps in the requirement. Worked closely with the Business Project Manager to align testing schedules and test resources needed to ensure delivery of results on time. Facilitated and assigned test execution to resources in the testing team. Managed and monitored the defects raised daily and performed defect triaging with support team to highlight the critical defects that needs to be prioritized. Closely worked with business users to facilitate the test execution and gather information on the test accounts they needed to perform the execution
Projects and Contributions:
Homerun – is an initiative from broadband / network technical group team that aims to modernize Globe cable cabinets which will include options to offer fiber optic connections to their existing and prospect customers.
▪ Coordinated with business users to identify and organize the different type of services that can be offered to different serviceable area of Globe Client which has helped the UAT testers understand the types and number of test data they need to set up for testing.
▪ Mentored associate software testers about fundamentals of software testing.

HCM – Learning Management System
Software Quality Engineer, July 2013 – July 2016
Actively participated in establishing QA process for Infor’s newly – acquired HCM module. Reviewed and analyzed the enhancement and maintenance requirement by creating a requirements traceability matrix to formulate an effective test case that will ensure full coverage of all functionalities will and to uncover the gaps in the requirement. Worked collaboratively with the group to plan and assess the bugs that need to be included in the succeeding hot fix/service pack. Prepared necessary test documents for each phase of testing, such as creation and maintenance of test plan, test cases and test reports in Zephyr as well as logging and monitoring of raised defects in HP QC and eventually in JIRA. Executed different kind of testing such as smoke, functional, regression and system testing. Spearheaded and lead group of 3 members in planning and execution of testing activities. Participated in pre-planning and post mortem meeting. Aided application support team in segregating issues reported by the client after a production deployment.
Projects and Contributions:
HCM - HCM is a module of Infor’s HRIS application. It allows different member in an organization to create, schedule and take custom online courses and certifications. Its main goal is to help the organization upgrades the employees’ skills and knowledge in their job roles to deliver satisfactory service to organization’s clients.
▪ Delivered almost bug-free version of course/ curricula /catalog /certification distribution module during 9.0 Enhancement.
▪ Identified the root cause for batch enrollment distribution issue.
▪ Suggested ways to efficiently run a batch enrollment distribution of users to different courses, curricula, catalog and certifications
▪ Tracked down different issues in distribution that originated the its legacy version.
▪ Created a document that list down all distribution scenarios.
▪ Lead team of 3 members in planning the test strategy, schedule and execution for a conversion project of HCM’s User and Admin Portal.
