Job Duties:

Single Point of Contact for complete Product categorization track (One of the major tracks of the application). This was a consequence of the amount of efforts given in understanding the Business Architecture, its different logical layers, relation among Business Architecture component and overall design, Coding and development.

· Was involved in Business discussion and the technical design of the requirements.

· Knowledge document preparation.

· Application development, unit testing and deployment are my major tasks.

· Mentoring the junior members of the team and giving them KT sessions.

· Various types of testing, starting from Functional, Ad-hoc and Smoke Testing.

· Preparing release documents at the time of build release.

· Handling User escalation issues.

· Responsible for managing high and critical Incidents, with respect to Process Reviews.

· Responsible for monitoring of tickets, taking the actions necessary to meet the service targets, managing user escalations for Incidents and user service requests.

Invoice/Billing information is stored on tandem servers. NIC console application connects to these tandem databases via ODBC and fetches data, consolidates and dumps this data to MSSQL server and creates invoice reports with iTextSharp in PDF format using this data. Also, depending on customer preference, these reports will be sent to customers via email or fax or to third party in case of physical mail preference. UI application gives provision to search and download invoices, reprocess failed invoices and resend invoices via email.

Role Description:

As a Software Developer, I was responsible for:

• Created data layer methods to fetch invoices from SQL server for search and download modules of UI application.

• Created data layer methods using entity framework that will fetch data from Tandem databases and transfer consolidated data to MSSQL server for Germany invoices.

• Created web services to expose these data layer methods to UI and console application.

• Created windows service to deploy console application in server and schedule it to run daily.

• Created methods to generate reports in different format for each country using iTextSharp.
