Led the design and development of a project to integrate multiple applications and workflows involved in the Credit Application and Approval processes for a leading multinational bank. The project was initiated as part of a strategic thrust by the institution to increase automation, optimize back office staff utilization, and reduce the time taken to grant corporate loans. This was achieved by introducing a Service Integration Layer (Web services) between the Credit Workflow Toolkit (initiator for the lending process) and all other downstream applications. The integration layer included a framework to enable phased country-specific rollouts.

Developing new functionality within the loan processing application, to calculate and publish security availability to select brokers, as well as automated processing of loans requested on the published availability. Functionality for manual intervention to handle mismatched / unsolicited loan requests was also developed

Extended the existing Reconciliation interface with the EquiLend product, by setting up a new legal entity for the Europe region, and developing processes to provide Contract, Billing, Mark-To-Market and Dividend Compares for the securities lending business

Development of a framework and process to archive Securities Finance reports from Actuate to a CMOD system, and retrieve from CMOD on demand, with no change in the overall user experience. Part of an initiative to reduce the cost of storage infrastructure from Actuate. Processed up 10000+ daily reports, as well as additional reports at monthly, quarterly and annual intervals.

Tasks include code changes for cloud compatibility, preparation of a fresh application codebase based on cloud requirements, build and deployment scripts, application support and troubleshooting.

This included data uploads through flat files / excel sheets, data maintenance screens, and extensive reporting.

The implementation of the DNS Server was accomplished using bind-dlz, which dynamically retrieves results for DNS queries from a database.

The email server, which runs on Qmail on a Linux machine, can be configured by means of a web-based Control Panel, which permits addition / management of orders, email accounts, forwards, aliases, auto-responders, and mailing lists.

The interface also takes care of configuring various services for the domain, including settings related to Apache web server, Tomcat Application Server, SSL, FrontPage extensions, as well as logging, web statistics and bandwidth usage.

Exhaustive reports were also generated, with formatting options of plain text and HTML.
