About Me

I am a web development professional with over 20 years experience in IT. I began my career independent, starting my own businesses after attending college, before advancing as a consultant to Fortune 1000 companies as well as the FBI in the early ...college, before advancing as a consultant to Fortune 1000 companies as well as the FBI in the early 2000s. By 2010, I had focused on front-end (UI / UX) coding and had managed my first team of developers. Over the past decade, I have continued to lead and manage development teams while maintaining my skills as an IC (JavaScript coder). I have also spoken at events on topics ranging from JavaScript coding to general UX as a member of JS.la and Mensa. During the past couple years, I've relocated from LA to my permanent home of San Diego while working short-term contracts. I am currently enrolled in certificate- and degree-based programs in Cyber-Security and looking forward to eventually working in an IT-based information assurance and security role.
