TIFR is one of the best research institute in India. There are more than 3000 peoples are working here, some of them are students, some are professors and rest are employees. As we know canteen is one of the most important department in any organization. Previously this canteen runs on cash basis transactions. Apart from that they had to maintain cash collection from each counter. This entire work was time consuming & there was a chance of human calculation mistakes too.
So Canteen Authority decided to go for digital solution for their canteen system. So we have developed Android app for canteen system. This system is based on QR-Code. All staff member have their own unique QR-Code. This code is attached to their wallet. This wallet is pre loaded with some amount. This money recovered from their salary at the end of every month. By using this app, canteen authority now easily maintain day to day transactions.
