The main objective of US Sharp project is to migrate ETL and Data from Cloudera environment to AWS Environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Ø Perform data analysis and data modelling if required.

Ø Migrate ETL code from cloudera environment to AWS Environment

Ø Test the loaded data

Ø Assist team on ETL Migration

Perform initial analysis and estimate all enhancement related tasks. Document all the analysis and allocating tasks to team members. Do follow-up on all tasks and work with clients to complete it. Carryout development activities along with leading the team. Coordinate the Test & Production deployment activities, interact with Informatica, Database and Unix Administration teams to support and ensure successful deployment. Participate in Requirements gathering, interact with Business Analysts, Business users and freeze requirements.

Developed Mapping documents based on the existing SPDM Process. Developed Informatica Mappings based on the mapping documents developed. Creating Sessions and Workflows. Performing Unit testing for the mappings. Fixing the issues that arise during unit testing & issues raised by the client. Implementing Audit Control logic for all layers of EDW

Migrated data from Oracle to Netezza databases. Created SQL scripts to validate the data model. Created test queries & documenting the same as per standards.

The Objective of this project is to consolidate the Sales Planning Data Mart (SPDM) into an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) along with its data, processes and interfaces to other existing applications.
