Initiated the teams' test automation efforts, by building the necessary framework bits for the FireEye’s flagship Endpoint solution.Built alternate tools (collectively called the TestConsole) to help with testing the product.

Built and managed a team comprising of 20+ engineers with various levels of experience, handling testing for two of its flagship products. Managed two releases of VSE, including one of its major ones (VSE8.7). In addition to the present product releases, took care of sustaining activities on the older product releases. Mid-2012, I switched into a senior technical role within the same business unit, where I initiated and owned test automation for all products in the group, apart from playing a technical evangelist role across the board.

Framework for automation was designed and developed to help automated testing, with support and co-ordination between onsite and offsite teams. Same framework was re-used during automation for 6.5 version of the same product.

Handle customer queries on product APIs from various sources, including Autodesk newsgroups. Recreate customer issues while using the APIs, get them fixed and ensure rolling them out during subsequent releases of the products. Post sample usage of APIs on the news-groups and Autodesk blogs. Own all related tasks from the team at Bangalore, and work hand-in-hand with my counterpart in the US.
