I am part of a team of unix technical leads supporting unix servers specifically Solaris and RedHat. Our roles include server maintenance and system healthchecks. We also plan and execute changes to maintain our servers which provides services to our customers.

I belonged to a team of Unix Technical Leads supporting AT&T's Managed Hosting and Application Services. Our role consist of point of escalation contact for technical issues and meet with customers and peers to plan and execute changes to our customers environment. These includes systems maintenance for HW and software.

Belonged to a team of second level contact for all type of Unix systems related issues. Our role includes 24x7 system monitoring and support including execution of changes to meet SLA agreement and to ensure our customers systems run 24x7.

To help IBM save in operational cost, I had an opportunity to part of a team in migrating our monitoring infrastructure from AT&T to IBM space.
