Flexi BUS project is to create a service layer between Flexcube and partner systems focused on capturing data from multiple subject areas spread across over 90 countries, transforming the data to ensure the sanity of partner data and maintaining the uniformity of Flexcube; Awarded best employee for the project

Responsibilities – As technical lead

 Interactions with business clients, worked with business analysts to understand business requirements and created high level technical design documents

 Created low level designs, mapping documents and unit test cases for each of the modules

 Involved in code reviews

 Co-ordinate onsite and offshore activities

 Reporting application development status to client As senior developer

 Build/code the allotted subject area and develop generic graphs

 Worked on unix scripts, psets, Conduct>IT plans and PDLs

 End to end testing of the subject area

 Promote the code to UAT environments and subsequently to production

 Support UAT testing and production implementation Package Creation Tool (Internal –Utility) Package creation tool is internal tool used to reduce manual effort and interventions required for hermes package creation for code migration to UAT; thus reduce the manual errors and improve the efficiency

Develop ETL framework to migrate all the home and auto insurance claims from old database schema to new, ensuring the integrity and sanity of the data

 Server migration – To migrate all the existing applications from Unix server to Linux x86 server and fix data lineages

 Shop ranking – Develop ETL flow to calculate ranking of the repair shops based on certain transformation rules

 Customer experience – Develop ETL flow to exact client feedback data and store the data in variety of ways to be used for further analysis and reporting

- Enhanced the end-user experience for account performance calculation by restructuring the data tables to enable faster data retrieval

 Secure Card Database -Replicated database from DB2 to teradata for analysis purpose, decommissioning the previous flows containing the secured card data

Provided a solution to create, update, and synchronize reference data; built custom validations and transformations to ensure the sanity of the xml data per client’s requirements;

This solution improved the turnaround time for new subject areas

 Master Data Management - Captured and maintained the master data of the client across the different systems and business processes; Performed various checks including but not limited to data quality, data consistency, Data Type, De-Duping, Referential integrity; Created a daily incremental backup of all the reference data

 Tiered Data Storage -Provided the necessary system to move the data safely from Teradata to cheaper storage media and bring back to Teradata when requested by the user of the data, reducing the teradata disk usage cost for the client
