In the MIB DT project, Motor Insurance Database for entire UK will be exposed as CICS web services and updated by batch processing. The MID is then accessed by different end users which are insurers, policy holders, insurers and police of Great Britain. MID is divided into 2 parts, one is MID and other is MID Fleet which covers commercial vehicle insurance. All Insurance policy data is updated to MID through batch system which is setup for all insurers of UK.
