In Deutsche Bank, security lending business adds huge revenue close to 60% of total in each year. ALD is an important application, which validates all securities given to different vendors/Agents. So Agent sends all securities which are received from Deutsche bank, usually this activity is done by SunGard. Finally ALD system validates both Agent and own data, all validated securities send to downstream, in case anything invalidated then failure report sends to business to take necessary correction/action.

ALD system built using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripts, Perl Scripts, Control-M scheduler and GIT repository.

Description:

Processing of the order starting from dell.com website to customer services comes under Dell order management / Order Flow. Developer responsibility to handle the order processing in backend PL/SQL codes GII, OMEGA, OFS, GFX are the major application under OM. Passing messages from one source to another is most difficult part. There could be lot of bugs and error fixing happen and even redevelopment of the existing program done in day today job through CRQ (Change request management tool).

Checking database PL/SQL programs are my responsibility. Regular feedback comes from users/business/program-audit team of those tools and enhancement/re-development performed accordingly in the modular way.
