Wrote a complex PL/SQL ETL utility to upload CA Agile JSON results into the database.  The package is designed to work with the Rally tool: it accepts multiple parameters and depending on the parameter values it derives information about Rally components under specific projects.  The utility is designed to read JSON results and upload information about such hierarchical components as Initiation, Capabilities, UserStories, Features, Defects, Testcases and Tasks.  Once the results are stored in the database, they can be used for further analysis: reports can be build to analyze time spent on gathering project requirements, development and QA processes.  Documented the utility usage and test results.

Was involved in the complex process of analyzing business requirements, worked closely with the client, senior management and business analysists to get understanding of all existing and potential issues and translated the requirements into new technical enhancements and functionalities.  Wrote complex stored procedures for DB2 databases to rectify healthcare related issues retroactively and provided the code to use for future data issues. Create multiple database objects including tables and complex procedures.  Was invovled in production deployment and multiple data rectification processes.  Used Toad for DB2 for development work.

Created multiple database objects such as external and heap-organized tables. Wrote complex ETL code to upload automatically received data from the client (FDA drug-related information).  The data was received from the automatically uploaded files and transferred into the DataWarehouse database.   According to the client input parameters (received via a file), the data has to be either inserted, updated or deleted from the database.  

I was involved in a lengthy project, which included multiple layers - web and database components.  The Tax tool was used by multiple clients of the company where the clients could calculate their income, expenses, deductions and decrease tax payments by transferring respective income to their filial branches in other countries.  Noticed through ADDM, ASH and AWR reports that calculations used provide a huge bottleneck during subsequent executions.  Provided a breakthrough method which boosted the PL/SQL utility performance drammatically: implemented the code where mathematical formulas were created by utilizing the shunting-yard algorithm.  Used this method for parsing mathematical expressions specified in postfix notation - wrote an RPN (reverse-Polish notation) in PL/SQL.  Created tables, complex packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views using Oracle 11g.  Was involved in the bux fix and new feature development processes.  Was involved in the full life cycle of development by using the Agile methodology.
