Art was responsible for all aspects of database administration for a Teradata Data Warehouse. Forty percent of duties involved consulting with users of the Data Warehouse.

• Developed standard processes to administer all aspects of Data Warehouse administration for a large user base.
• Conceived, developed, tested and implemented Excel based dashboard to perform aspects of Capacity Planning.

• Expert Data Modeling skills transforming logical data models into Teradata physical database designs via ERWIN, Power Designer, Embarcadero, Visio etc., system implementation, performance tuning, application developer and application dba support.
• Expert DBA skills in Teradata DBMS Administration, initial Teradata DBMS environment setup, development and application DBA support, use of DataMover, FASTLOAD, MULTILOAD, Macros, Stored Procedures, TPUMP, TPT, TMSM, Teradata SQL, Unity, ViewPoint, and BTEQ Teradata utilities.
• Skilled in UNIX/Linux Shell, Powershell, Perl, and Python scripting languages and standard tools such as VI, Awk, etc.
