Description
The MultiTouch Map Kiosk is a touch enabled application developed in WPF. This application meant to be run in touchscreen devices, allows users to locate addresses much like how Google Map or Bing Maps work but using a larger user interface perfect for kiosks and showroom devices. The project done for a German company features loading pre-loaded locations reading from a CSV file among other similar data sources and consumes OpenStreetMaps API to perform its mapping functions.

The role as Web Application Manager involved two major responsibilities - primarily as a business analyst and ultimately as aweb developer. As a business analyst, I was involved in the early stages of the project performing requirements gathering activities within the ADB organization for the SEAMT Dashboard, a web-based reporting tool made using Power BI, Sharepoint and Power Apps on top of several data sources ranging from Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server, Cognos and IBM Mainframe to SASS cubes.Activities include conducting face-to-face interviews with focal points and stakeholders capturing business requirements, knowledge transfers from ADB’s business intelligence team and documenting all gathered information for the development team to use as guide during project implementation. As a web developer, was tasked to create project tasks and estimates during Sprint planning and involved in actual Power BI development of the reports.
