Resolve production issues

• Lead resource to provide operational and troubleshooting support for applications, data warehouse and reporting components for large scale organizations. 
• Develop reports using the AssetWorks Application Platforms (Fleet Administration) and support the application with issues.
• Create Java Web Services client applications to consume data from web services to Fleet Anywhere
• Create interfaces between Fleetanywhere and other system so that data come be feed one system to another system.
• Develop reports using Crystal Reports and other reporting tools.
• Work closely with the Program Areas/Customers and IT staff, and communicate business requirements and address everyday needs.
• Develop reports and reporting solutions, and will review current reports and can optimize and tune queries.
• Review the current reporting architectures and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop reports using Oracle Databases.
• Develop complex SQL, PL/SQL, views, functions packages, stored procedures, triggers, and ETL
• Collaborate with the IT and program area leads to translate program area requirements into technology requirements and recommend viable technical options.
• Act as a Mentor in developing the skills and expertise of other IT developers on the team.

• Implement FSLDM in data warehouse development
• Finding data sources and create preliminary mapping, mapping and prototype SQL
• Work with ETL developer, data steward and business user to apply prototype SQL for data transformation
• Create and modify existing data dependency diagram
• Create database objects including tables, views and work with data modeller to adjust in logical and physical data model.
• Create data marts, and troubleshoot ad hoc issues while implementing data warehouse
• Involve in data loading using script in dev environment
• Prepare technical documents such as detailed data specification.
• Writing database objects such as functions, stored procedures, packages and triggers
• Perform operations like Data reconciliation, validation and error handling
• Write PL/SQL scripts to extract the data from the operational database into simple flat text files such as Excel using SQL*Loader, SQL Developer and PL/SQL

• System analysis, physical data model design and logical data model design using ESP
• Create data elements, data marts, and troubleshoot ad hoc issues while implementing ESP to clients
• Analyse, design and unit test of solutions for ESP implementations. The development environment is agile and agile methodology is maintained by IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC). Creating associated tasks and story.
• Work with end to end System Testing and UAT teams to analyse, design, resolve opened defects
• Adhered to strict coding standards, performed code reviews and done POC
• Create mapping of feed with category (Database Tables) and troubleshoot data validations issues.
• Write complex SQL queries to create outbound extracts.
• Writing database objects such as functions, stored procedures, packages and triggers to meet the functional requirements using Oracle PL/SQL
• Creating different indexes such as normal, composite, reverse, BIT map, Clustered indexes, Indexed Organization table etc.
• Done performance tuning is at the Mapping level as well as the Database level to increase the data throughput
• Monitor Production data feeds and extract in daily basis and troubleshoot if any issues come arise. Provide 24/7 production and QA support
• Find out issues in AutoSys jobs and resolve the issues.
• Prepare documentations for change managements
• Writing database objects such as functions, stored procedures, packages and triggers
• Perform operations like Data reconciliation, validation and error handling
• Read UNIX server log to find out any issues related to data feeds and extract generation
• Work closely and interact directly with business, technology and product stakeholders to define and document business intelligence solution requirements
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL tuning and Application tuning using various tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL*TRACE, TKPROF, AUTOTRACE, HASH, NESTED LOOPs and Hints
• Write PL/SQL scripts to extract the data from the operational database into simple flat text files such as Excel using UTL_FILE package and PL/SQL
• Write complex SQL queries using analytical queries (RANK, DENSE-RANK, ROW_NUMBER), statistical functions, model queries, regular expression and use built-in packages supplied in PL/SQL.
