As a Senior Product Line Manager in Product Engineering, I handle Finacle Enterprise Payments Product Engineering. I am working on re-architecture of the Payment stack besides handling the delivery to multiple customers like BofAML, BOTW, etc. The refactoring work involves application of Design Patterns to change legacy code to modern OOP standards, changing RDBMS to graph database (Neo4j) for specific cases transitioning to queued microservices. I am also responsible for making the development environment to VSCode over Centos WSL for enabling visual debugging. I am also developing ‘Payments as a Service’ using NodeJS. I handle a team of around 60 people

In Product Engineering, I lead and manage multiple teams working on SaaS/Cloud and Enterprise products and Mobile Applications (mainly native and few cross platform). Lyris List Manager, ScaleArc, ObjectStore, Verdiem are some Web Applications have their core components across various platforms such as C++, C#, Python and involve Email SMTP Engine, Database Load balancing, and Object Oriented Database design. I also lead Android Mobile Application development teams for Aurea products such as Aurea CRM client.

This work involves understanding Product; customer’s technical issues; managing architectural debt; enhance product features by working with Product, Maintenance, SaaS, Architecture, QA and Support teams. I handle test and CI/CD infrastructure to automate builds using Continuous Integration using Jenkins. This is a challenging role as it involves working with teams which are geographically separated. I am also involved in playbook definitions for the software factory processes. As a member of the Import team, I have to assess technology overtake and roadmap issues when ESW acquires a new company.

Lead product development for Samsung Healthcare products, real time analytics and monitoring products. I led various improvement initiatives and Next Gen products for remote monitoring. I led initiatives to develop Cardiac Decision Support System Server. I was also leading initiatives such as university relations for Samsung Electronics India with premier IIT(s).

S-Health includes a multitude of Health Apps such as Daily Activity Detection, Calorie Measurement, Weight Management, Cardiac Decision Management System, etc. I was involved from the inception of the product around Galaxy S4 till the Post Release in till Galaxy S6. The work involved Biosensors, modeling of data acquired from Heart Rate, Weight, Accelerometer, Gyroscope etc. to predict the possible weight loss for a certain exercise regime. It involved machine learning to create interesting models using this data and then infer information by fitting these models.

I Conceived, Designed and Developed a Remote Healthcare Monitoring System for Cardiac Disease Management with a Mobile Gateway for the patient, Cardiac Decision Support System Server for hospital, and a Point of Care Device for the Doctor. The project aims at Real Time Detection of Cardiac Arrhythmia leading to Heart Attack (Acute Myocardial Infarction).

I also developed simple Stress detection application using Heart Rate Variability sensor and Endurance enhancement application for marathon runners.

I led a team involving 20+ members. We designed a real-time Data Stream Management System that handles continuous stream data using Continuous Queries. The project also involved benchmarking against the Linear Road Benchmark for comparing the accuracy and load handling capacity of the DSMS. I was also responsible for the timely delivery, budget and team ramp up /hiring.

• Secure Removable Media (SRM)

We built the OMA SRM 1.0 Host side stack on Samsung Handset. I was responsible for team building, requirement gathering, Proposal, Project Plan, Development and ensuring timely and smooth functioning of the Project. I participated in the OMA Test Fests in Finland Sept08 and Seoul Nov08.

• Trusted Computing

I played the role of Project Leader for this effort. Led the efforts in development and porting of IBM Trusted Software Stack to Samsung Mobile with SHP. We ported the IBM Trusted Software Stack to Samsung Mobile SHP Platform. I developed the Direct and Anonymous Attestation (DAA) module involving complex modular mathematics. This uses the Open SSL ‘Big Number Library’ as well as RSA, x509v3 certificates related modules. We used Trusted Platform Module (TPM) software emulator from Berlios.de, TPM chip from Broadcom (in Dell Latitude D820), Infineon TPM for testing the TSS (including DAA).

• Portable DRM for SIM Card (PDRM)

I lead this effort involving 9 members where we ported the OMA DRM 2.0 Agent to a Samsung SIM Card with 1GB NAND flash memory with the Consumer Electronic Device (TV, STB, Mobile phone with USB interface). This also required the development of an interface protocol between the remote device and the CE device. The challenging part was working with an embedded device with 12KB RAM. The product was demonstrated at Cartes Festival Nov 06 Paris.

• DRM 1.0 and 2.0 Client

I implemented the Content, Rights and Security Management on DRM Agent for Samsung Handset. I participated in Seoul Interoperability Test Festival in Sept05 for testing conformance of DRM Agent to the specifications. Tasks: Design, Implementation, Integration, Testing and Deployment of OMA DRM 1.0, 2.0, Client for Samsung Handset Platform; DRM test server implementation;

Included usage/ modification of OpenSSL Library, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Symmetric (AES variants) and Asymmetric Key (RSA 1024 bits) Cryptography; Open CA setup; X.509v3 certificates [certificate and certificate chain validation], PKCS #1, PKCS #6, ASN.1

As Co-Founder and Head of Engineering, I built multiple features such as social interaction in gold retail. GoldAdorn.com was an early stage startup in social ecommerce of Gold and Diamond Jewelry. I handled the entire engineering for this exciting startup guiding the team from conception to market. I managed the entire feature list and technology stack – web backend and Android frontend. I architected and developed the entire backend. I managed the development of the GoldAdorn Android Application. I developed streaming pipelines and recommendation platform for providing jewelry recommendations based on previous purchases, viewed products, demography etc. We exited via sale to Jewelcasa Internet Private Limited.
