An Authentication and Access Control system, involving the identification of clients using fingerprint and access control to SESI and SENAI service units and schools throughout the state, where I had an important role in the definition of the distributed systems architecture created to integrate the systems developed internally with systems developed by third parties and various biometric identification technologies of high technical complexity.

ABusiness Intelligence (BI) web system was designed with a specialeffort to integrate the various types of databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL) powered by different information systems, enabling online integration through the BI tool to provide the most relevant managerial information for managers`s decision making.

A School Administration system used by the SESI and SENAI schools, where the academic information of the presential and distance education courses and the control of the collection and delinquency of the schools were centralized in a software platform with online access through internet and intranet. I participated directly in meetings with the Product Owners`s internal clients, coordinating efforts to build a business overview to provide managers with consolidated, real-time information.

I created an autonomous wheeled mobile robot from scratch, as well a number of experiments with the developed applications, integrating voice command functionality, obstacle detection and avoidance, greeting a person, battery recharge and teleoperation, implementing machine learning and pattern recognition algorithms to use in robot navigation tasks.

I haveintegrated several open-source libraries like OpenCV, ARToolKit, OpenKinect, eSpeak, CMU Sphinx and PyFaces.
