The SmartUX SDK provides a comprehensive suite of features to allow Android

application developers to easily integrate scanning, printing, and device control functionalities

in their Android applications. It comes preloaded with documentation, samples and libraries to jump start application development. It is geared for developers with no prior experience

with scanning/printing, allowing them to build applications for MFP devices without

having to learn any new protocols or tools. It enabled applications can be distributed to a

vast base of MFP devices and customers via the HP App Center or the App Gallery

which is preinstalled in devices

• Responsible for setting up the printer device in India for lab testing.

HP Cloud Telemetry tools, create a web-based application for call center agents to

remotely diagnose print device performance issues and dispatch corrective action(s)—with

the intent to achieve a fix in a single service event. SDS, Smart Device Service, is a

cloud-based service framework intended facilitate machine maintenance and repair to

maximize print uptime. It is targeted for resellers that sell and service HP devices,

service providers, and internal HP service personnel. SDS--with existing HP connective and management tools--allows device telemetrics to be captured. Further, incremental

predictive analytics are expected to be added to the toolset in the near-term.

With these predictive failures insights, preventive maintenance and proactive hardware &

firmware mitigation could be applied
