GM was a multi-million-dollar contract for 5 Years to maintain 200+ applications across the globe. I Managed the DBA with a team of Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Mainframe DB2 & IMS DBA’s which supports 500+ databases in a shared service model. Team provided database support for 200+ applications. Handled a team of 15 Database Administrators which supported North America, Europe and Asia pacific based applications/databases.

Key Accomplishments

• In 3 months’ time, turned around a highly escalated area to a trouble-free user-friendly environment.
• Performance issues of 50 applications and databases were handled efficiently by recommending various architecture changes and proactive tuning. High severity issues reduced 30% year on year.
