Description
We developed the Webcheckin service in a short span of 8 weeks in agile methodology in 2018 for Etihad. It reduces the cost to serve by promoting self-service, increases the paid seats revenue stream, improves the speed to market, reduces the maintenance costs associated with legacy systems, provides the capability to easily integrate with the new merchandizing platform, supports multi-channel deployment and provides enhanced reporting/analytics.

Description
GM was a multi-million-dollar contract for 5 Years to maintain 200+ applications across the globe. I Managed the DBA with a team of Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Mainframe DB2 & IMS DBA’s which supports 500+ databases in a shared service model. Team provided database support for 200+ applications. Handled a team of 15 Database Administrators which supported North America, Europe and Asia pacific based applications/databases.
Key Accomplishments
- In 3 months’ time, turned around a highly escalated area to a trouble-free user-friendly environment.
- Performance issues of 50 applications and databases were handled efficiently by recommending various architecture changes and proactive tuning. High severity issues reduced 30% year on year.
- 25 major application migration projects were planned, tested and migrated successfully.
