The goal of the project is to capture data on our suppliers in order to score or rate vendors to provide feedback to vendors and carriers can improve delivery conditions related to time, quality, and accuracy. The app is intended to check in shipments by truck against schedule and dock location; it isin addition to, notinstead ofour receiving process. The app will associate schedule (and ASN) with carrier and dock door location to allow a user to check-in that segment (truckload) of a shipment by accepting or rejecting it based on the recorded temperature and the general condition of the truck. Schedules will remain open until the ASN is closed as part of our current receiving process.

DEX Application:When the vendor/Driver completes the order form details and submits the invoice through the DEX interface, the invoice .894 file getscreated. The .894 file needs to be validated and processed for vendor billing purposes (The .894 file should be sent to the Accounting team along with the processing).

Some of our vendors don't have a provision to transmit the invoices thru wire or using DEX. They bring paper invoices to our facilities and deliver the goods.

This application (AsnMaintWeb) is used for them to enter their paper invoices into our system.
