ABAP development executed as needed to support/augment production SAP environment. Task have included reports and interface development. Modules impacted for reporting have been Finance, Sales and Distribution and Materials Management. Interfaces have been focused on extractions from Material Master, Customer Master and Pricing data for sharing with a 3rd party vendor. The 3rd party interface also returns sales order back to GKG in CSV file format. The files are read and converted into ORDERS messaged IDocs for inbound processing.

Glatfelter implemented the outbound 856 EDI (ANSI x12) documents to a set of customers. The task assigned were to determine the needs of each customer and to create mapping specifications. Meetings conducted with internal Glatfelter personnel, external trading partners and trading partner associates to confirm the mapping requirements and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Also, responsible for leading offshore personnel to communicate, manage and approve all mapping and internal map testing. Glatfelter used a custom format of the 856 data that was converted into ANSI x12.

The assignment entailed the upgrade to x12 version 4010 for inbound FI vendor invoices. Worked with internal EDI teams (ABAP and OpenText) to determine fields for placement in the proper IDoc segments/fields and OpenText records/fields. Communicated with vendors via email and phone to determine their current x12 version, assisted the vendors with their migration in both the development and testing of version 4010. Used SalesForce.com to maintain all electronic and verbal contact with each individual vendor. Also worked with eVision mapping team in the development of IDoc to x12.

EDI Technical Analyst for Sinomax, USA. Conversion to SAP from a legacy system (Apprise). Responsibilities include full assessment of all EDI transactions and trading partners. Develop mapping documentation for IDoc to X.12 documents and X.12 to IDoc documents. Also included was constant communication with legacy system EDI personnel and VAN personnel. Designed, documented and coded all necessary ABAP coding changes needed to handle ono-standard processing. The transaction involved were the i850, i820, i754, i945, o753, o810, o846, o855, o856 and o940. Modules impacted were FI, SD, MM & WM.
