This loan repayment project deals with all the payment and repayment done to or done by clients to the company.

This project maintains all the financial activities of the customers and dealing with aal third parties involved in any financial activities.

The Allstate Corporation is the second-largest personal lines insurer in the United States and Canada. Allstate Roadside Services (ARS) provides 24 hours emergency roadside assistance in the USA to approximately 1.2 million members via service providers. Services include Billing, Claims, Customer Service, Dispatch and Fulfillment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding the business and technology involved in supporting client’s application.
• Support and development of PL/SQL modules utilizing latest database technique. Creating requests and solving production related issues. Development of oracle forms, reports and shell scripts. 
• Participating in onsite-offshore calls for requirement gathering.
• Task allocation and guiding junior members of team for task completion and involved in knowledge transition phase for new joiners.
• Handling QA related process like, maintaining track of project in equip, creating weekly reports, preparation of QA documents using Equip.
• Created PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Packages for implementing business logic and extensively used Cursors, Collections, Records, indexes, joins and Tables in PL/SQL Programming.
• Developed control files for SQL*Loader and PL/SQL programs for loading and validating the data into the Database.
• Used Exception Handling extensively for the ease of debugging and displaying the error messages in the application.
• Involved in writing complex queries to generate reports as per client requests as part of production support.
• Developed UNIX shell scripts to run the SQL scripts to generate reports and sending out email.
• Generated .txt and .csv reports using UTL files.
• Involved with Onsite as a point of contact for all the database deliverable.
• Successfully handled modules like Billing, telemarketing, batch enrollments, Endorsements etc.

Gates Corporation, USA, is a world leader in industrial engineering and manufacturing. The project was based on application used for Ware House Management (important part of Supply chain management) in gates. The migration of the objects like screens (oracle forms), Reports, database objects (package, procedure functions etc.) were done from their Oracle versions. Fixing the issues related to object migration or compatibility of objects after Migration was handled.

• Responsible for gathering requirements in initial stages of project.
• Participated in client calls to understand the process and change requests.
• Understanding and documenting the impact analysis of the change request.
• Migration of oracle forms, Reports from 6i version to 9i new versions using form builder and report builder tool.
• Fixing PLSQL packages defects during project migration.
• Writing Triggers and sql scripts for new functionality under project.
• Migration of object like forms, reports, database objects to client server.
