Description of role: Design, develop and test HTML 4, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery and React.JS that meets accessibility and web browser standards for website. Designed CSS templates for use in all pages on the website working with CSS Background, positioning, text, border, margin, padding, and table. Adobe Creative Suite software was used for rendition of application wireframes, and mockups.  Also, Adobe Launch and Adobe Analytics was implemented.  Applied optimization techniques to reduce page size and load times to enhance user experience using sprites. Developed user interface by using the React JS, Flux for SPA development. Implemented react JS code to handle cross browser compatibility issues in Mozella, IE 7, 8, 9, Safari and FF. • Reason for leaving:  Alexander Open Systems was recently acquired by Convergence One.  New management decided to discontinue the product for which I was hired to develop for.

 

Description of role:  As a full stack .NET developer and designer, I completed all aspects of clients .NET application development, which included the following.  Preliminary and review meetings were conducted through remote screenshare sessions using WebEx.  I worked with multiple project managers and sales people.  Clients described their web application goals, and the detailed instructions were converted to an outline.  Based on this information, I rendered wireframes and color mockups to be reviewed before development was initiated.  Upon approval of the color mockup design, I completed the development of the .NET sites which involved backend coding of custom Web Parts (C# .NET) and/or other custom web site content being requested.  After functionality was approved, visual branding was rendered and applied by formatting CSS and HTML 4.  The first draft of the completed site was published to a test web server.  GitHub was used for team code sharing. Unit testing and Regression testing was implemented.  Once the draft was approved, the site was then deployed to the clientele’s web server, or Office 365 Online site.

This role covered a wide array of development requirements, which also included MEAN stack development, as well as other miscellaneous technologies.  Clientele would contact the company, and speak to a salesperson, who would then reach out to a pool of developers.  If the skillset matched the developer’s wheelhouse, the developer would adopt the project. Defined cloud architecture, design and implementation plans for hosting complex application workloads on MS Azure and AWS.
