John was the lead technologist and SharePoint architect for a SharePoint Collaboration Strategy engagement.

John was the maintenance lead technologist managing staff of three responsible for the day to day system maintenance of complex SharePoint intranet.

John migrated content to Office 365. Implemented green field hotel collaboration system with site content types, managed metadata and access control.

He was in charge of Technical Instructor development whereby he monitored, evaluated and mentored other instructors. He designed and wrote high-end technical courses and delivered to mixed technical audiences throughout the region.

Created a proof of concept to demonstrate end to end capabilities of SharePoint 2010 for a large multi-national mining company, and built full solutions in SharePoint using custom workflows, coded timer jobs, PerformancePoint and business reporting. All this in just two weeks. Migrated content from SharePoint 2007, enabled both Enterprise and FAST search, added Project Server, designed and implemented PerformancePoint dashboards, and leveraged Commerce Server inside SharePoint 2010. Successfully migrated Lotus Notes Domino applications to SharePoint 2007 for a large pharmaceutical manufacture. Depending on the complexity of the source application, he designed and built standalone sites, or leveraged InfoPath for appropriate forms, or rebuilt as .NET sites for highly complex apps. Data transfer was facilitated using Quest Notes to SharePoint Migration manager. For an international book and media distributor, built FAST Search for Internet Sites (FSIS) as the platform for intuitive content search, combining with SharePoint 2010. Led the roll out of SharePoint 2007 in an international scientific instrument manufacturer. This involved crafting the solution and allowing scaling for roll out to 35,000 users of the global intranet portal. Starting from a green field environment, he installed and configured a large SharePoint farm, and designed a Microsoft FAST search solution that enhanced the search capabilities with navigable intelligent search. Crafted the overall solution, ran a team of 20 developers that implemented a content management and work flow system on SharePoint 2007 coupled with a custom-coded Word 2007 editor. This was a successful example of Microsoft Office development with back-end integration to Windows SharePoint Services. Client publishes medical overviews. Successfully delivered a working system that demonstrated the feasibility of a centralized patient index that can retrieve medical records from federated data sources. Mr. Calladine was the application architect for a healthcare prototype that locates medical records. Technical coordinator on a healthcare project, a web based pilot that provides emergency rooms in a hospital with the dispensed drug history of a patient. He acted as the technical consultant to the whole pilot encompassing architectural assessments, directing vendors, delivering and testing releases, providing training and advising the directorial board. This was an enormously challenging project demanding many skills and he successfully directed and launched the pilot, which involved three hospitals in Massachusetts connected to six data sources. This was the first working pilot in the USA where payer and provider collaboration has resulted in aggregated data being made available to hospitals.

John was promoted to Market Lead for New England in the Collaboration practice, where he managed five consultants, assigned roles, created solutions for proposals, led technical discussions with clients. He was targeted with expanding the sales in New England. Mr. Calladine was the key technical presales and strategy go-to contact for collaboration, BI and search portals for clients.
