In this project I built a dimensional warehouse from scratch to replace a suite of Business Objects reports with SSRS reports. Source data was SAP. It involved extensive data quality work and ETL.

Built analytical models to predict the ways users would configure a licensing tool based on their profile attributes so we could pre-configure the interrface and make it easier and faster for them to make adjustments. Used K-means algorithm to set defaults and EM algorithm to populate and sort alternative choices.

In this project my role was to diagnose significant prerformance challenges with a large production OLAP cube that supported the daily analytical needs of the worldwide retail operation. Source data was on IBM Netezza. I created Power BI dashboards to support busness analysts and retail managment.

With this customer I had multiple engagements: I developed OLAP cubes and analytical models to support finance and accounting; extended their data warehouse to support the OLAP cubes; I analyzed their entire reporting system to identify risks associated with a planned move to a new distribution center. Hard-coded references to the existing distrubution center were replaced with dynamic references in all ETL, Tableau workbooks, reports and code; I helped evaluate Snowflake for potential future migration.
