AFL Global’s Test and Inspection division partnered with Megsoft to embark in the development the next generation of their modular test platform, the Rogue™ Carrier.

Claudio was instrumental in assisting AFL by providing a mature Mobile Software Delivery Strategy, utilizing industries best practices such as Continuous Delivery, Agile Scrum-based release cycles, Joint Application Design sessions for an always evolving product. These practices paired with Claudio’s proven experience with Xamarin have resulted in a solid foundation for AFL’s Next Gen platform.

Insurance App: Grupo Universal is the largest insurance company in the Dominican Republic and one of the top 10 in the Caribbean. The group is a collaborationof 6 companies, with revenue of 319 Million USD$ in 2013.

Claudio was instrumental in shaping Universal’s vision into a mobile app enabling their more than

800,000 customers to access the large amounts of services provided by Grupo Universal ranging from health insurance, casualty and property insurance, roadside assistance, online payments and more.

Seaboard Marine is an ocean transportation company that provides direct, regular service between the United States and the Caribbean Basin, Central and South America. With a fleet of more than thirty vessels serving over thirty-five ports, Seaboard Marine has steadily developed into a trade leader in the Western Hemisphere.

Claudio worked with Seaboard Marine’s team to create an iOS version of their existing, yet-to-be-released Android App. His expertise was invaluable when guiding Seaboard Marine from development, beta testing to publication of the app on the Apple Store

One of Pepsi’s premier media/advertisement partners engaged Megsoft Consulting, Inc. to develop a turn-key Printing solution for Pepsi’s campaign of “Real Big Summer” events.

Claudio developed the innovative solution, which consisted of an Android tablet app to interact with users in a mobile setting, and integrated with a custom printer solution (also developed by Claudio) which generated unique labels for Pepsi’s mini-can form factor.

Responsible for the overall architecture, design and development of Mobile app, which enables the insurance

company’s sales force to produce quotes on the go for prospective customers reducing the time it takes to produce a quote from 34 minutes to 5 minutes.

Homeland Security (HQ and CBP) as part of MicrosoftFederal Consulting Services.

Implemented a multiplatform solution (iPhone/iPad, Silverlight, & ASP.NET) which utilizes the .NET framework stack together with Xamarin’s Monotouch framework to create a solution to have native clients for several platforms without having to rewrite all the Non-UI code.

Designed and developed a prototype solution for the generation of CDA-based clinical documents, which integratedwith the customer’s data model. I delivered a web-based solution that allows said system to generate NISTMeaningful-Use-Certified HITSP C32 documents, as well as performing validation and integrating with a DirectProject Gateway for secure transport of the health information to the intended recipients. The project also included the provisioning of a HISP based on the Direct Project.

Part of the initial development team, main role was to collaborate in the system design and implementation of agreenfield project for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), intended to be the Reference Model used by Government Agencies and organizations in the Behavioral Health field to manage Electronic Health Records. This system incorporates many health care industry standards and best practices. As a senior consultant within the team, also provided mentoring/facilitation to mid-level and junior level developers as well as “on-boarding” new senior developers/architects to come up to speed on the overall architecture of the system and design patterns/framework-specific subjects.

Claudio was a key contributor to the SodaStream Connect project; the latest innovation project for PepsiCo, Inc, a Fortune 50 organization in the Food and Beverages space. Claudio’s skills in the technical creation of consumer- focused solutions/products were paramount in assisting the customer in the envisioning and implementation of an entire product stack, which included a consumer facing mobile app, a smart IoT appliance and a cloud-based architecture. The IoT based solution targeting the consumer space required a scalable, designed for failure, that could scale out to a global footprint. The consumer product solution is currently in beta in select markets, awaiting an impending global deployment. Claudio was strategic to the both the mobile app development, as well as the cloud-based platform utilizing Azure as the Platform-as-a-Service backbone. It utilized Microsoft’s prescribed cloud practices for high availability, resiliency, design for failure, micro-services-oriented architectures with frequent deployments and automated self-management. Was hand-picked by Microsoft to work with NYPD, on a highly publicized Digital Transformation Project. Claudio led a team of Xamarin Developers to in record time rewrite two Line of Business mobile apps to iOS using Xamarin.iOS. The engagement involved leading discovery sessions to capture and document requirements, establish coding and process best practices, as well as developing pixel perfect apps based on UX guidelines.

food courts, childcare centers, and indoor/outdoor pools.

Claudio was responsible for leading and driving mobile application development, while utilizing best practices for forward thinking mobile computing strategies in an Agile SCRUM environment. He acted as a liaison with the development team, focused on driving quality deliverables. Part of his technical responsibilities were designing and developing app features and conducting code reviews. As the Mobile Lead he also was fundamental to gathering, elaborating and analyzing business requirements and objectives, to clarify requirements, provide strategic recommendation.
