Migration of the reports from Equation to Finacle application for one of the leading bank of Ras Al Khaima(UAE)includes understanding the report of equation application and then converts the code into SQL depending on the structure and model of the database. Some of the reports are directly changing the database location and migrating to finacle and remaining are new development. All new development reports are because of database changes and changes in business rules of the organization. Migration of the reports from Web Focus to Crystal reports includes understanding the code of Web Focus/Focus and then converts the code into SQL. After converting the code to SQL we need to build the Universe for the SQL Queries by using Designer XIR2. Once the designing part completes then we need to create the crystal reports by accessing these created/designed universes and the final output should match with the Focus output. These reports will be further move for testing from the client & if client feels the reports are ok then they will move to the production repository.
