The purpose of swap product is to offer clients all the benefits of holding trading portfolio without Purchase or own any actual stock. Trades are input into upstream system -Colt and then fed (via IPB – International Prime Brokerage) to PFS. These trades are then converted into swap trades. Swap details are then fed, in the batch, to the Swap database where the Actuate reports are generated from. The Actuate reports are configured to take data from the IPB Repository and not the consolidated database thus updates can be made to the data during intraday and the reports regenerated. To do this report publisher service takes the information from IPB database (international prime brokerage)
