The application uses third-party controls ComponentArt controls for process the data and Enterprise Wrapper file as a DAL layer. The application is used for an intranet purpose. The roles of the application belong to a school organization. They are LT_ADD, LT_MODIFY, and LT_READ. Based on the roles, the application allows adding, modifying and deleting the lesson details information. The application contains only two pages. Initially it searches the Student details in a lookup window and later binds the student information and his related course details in a grid. The end user feeds the lesson details of a course into the grid.

The ZIMS application is being developed by ISIS to meet the changing needs of ISIS and its member organizations. The business of ISIS members, International Zoological Institutions (Aquariums and Zoos), has changed over the past 15 years from solely providing sanctuary for millions of animals to meeting the specialized needs of the animals today. These services have evolved to dietary, veterinary, reproduction, habitat, research, tracking, regulatory reporting and management of species throughout their life cycles. ZIMS is ISIS plan towards meeting these changing needs. The scope of this phase of ZIMS Development Project is to design and develop a highly transactional, web-enabled application and Data Warehouse for use by 600+ ISIS member institutions worldwide. The ISIS community has a diverse and geographically dispersed member-base and it is a critical success factor for ZIMS to enable the participation, support and acceptance of this initiative. Microsoft receives raw vector map data with latest updates from various vendors (Navteq, TeleAtas) for different geographies (NA / EU / AP). In “Vector Data pipeline” and “Data Foundation” projects HCL owns overall Dev + Test responsibility of transforming raw vector data into Microsoft in-house format (CMF / MAD / MWS) and stabilizing the same to finally sign-off full proof map data ready to be consumed by different MS mapping products like mapping portal www.bing.com/maps, MS Streets & Trips, MapPoint and other MS WLL products.

Map Data transformation happens via different data pipeline processing and data build processing and testing of the same is executed via various test automation BVTs and a rigorous manual testing.
